Vi avevo già raccontato in un altro post di come mi fosse piaciuto collaborare con Vintage Market Ibiza. Adoro questo stile così elegante, ma soprattutto che supera ogni tempo e moda grazie  alla sua classe e raffinatezza.

Today, the charming, narrow streets near the harbour are desert, the shops are closed, blue door waiting to be opened, someone walking with his dog: probably you know all these places during the summer time ” la movida ibizenca”, with plenty of people going around.
Monumental Gate of Ses Taules stands imposing, protecting precious treasure of ancient Dalt Vila, founded by phoenicians so many years ago but still remaining the symbol of magical island of Bes.
In the Old Market you can still find some stands with local fruits and vegetables.
As you know i love Ibiza in this period of the year, and walking around these places kissed by december sun with only sound of my footsteps is like a dream to me and I’ll never quit telling you to come to Ibiza in off season and check by yourself the qualitative life you can enjoy!

Oggi le piccole stradine del porto sono deserte, i negozi quasi tutti chiusi, porte blu color cielo che aspettano di essere aperte, qualche persona a spasso col proprio cane: riecheggiano lontani gli echi della movida estiva con la sua energia dirompente e colorata.
La monumetale porta di Ses Taules sorge imponente, proteggendo come un prezioso tesoro l’ antica Dalt Vila, la città alta, fondata da Fenici tante lune orsono e ancora simbolo dell’ isola magica di Bes.
Nel mercato vecchio, nella cornica della piazzetta in stile bohemien, Â rimane ancora qualche banchetto dove si possono comprare ogni mattina frutta e verdura di produttori locali.
Passeggiare in questi luoghi baciata dal sole di dicembre e nel silenzio dei miei passi è per me un vero sogno e non smetterò mai di consigliarvi di venire in questo periodo dell’ anno per godervi la vera qualità di vita che l’ isola può offrire.

Sunday is going to become my favourite day, mainly in this season of the year and that’s  because of several events having place on the island.
Today i went to the San Joan Market, i have already spoken about in an october post, and the new market in Atzarò.
The wind was quite strong bringing cold air from the north but it was still sunny and pleasant day.
The road to San Juan is very nice. It passes thru the green fields of Ibiza countryside.
San Juan is built mainly on the sides of the main road. It is a quiet village in a hilly area with its white houses and white church, but on Sundays it transforms and becomes alive with music and color, people of all nationalities , artisans and producers, fashion designers and artists .
The reasons why I go there, as well as to meet my friends, is to buy fruits and vegetables from dear Eugenio, farmer coming form Ecuador who lives here in Ibiza , and that always has a great choice of products for smoothies and fresh juices, and to buy vegan&organic bread and cupcakes made by ” Raices de Ibiza ” , an always smiling and very kind spanish couple.
I recommend you to try their Xeixa bread, made of ancient variety of wheat , which they started to grow themselves here in Ibiza. I find it very digestible and taste sweet and delicious. Really try it!!
Definitely it will not be the last post where I talk about this market so I keep some gem for the future.

La domenica sta diventando uno dei miei giorni preferiti qua ad Ibiza, soprattutto nel periodo fuori stagione in cui i momenti per incontrarsi tra noi “abitanti” dell’ isola sono più selezionati.
Gli eventi domenicali sono sempre più numerosi e oggi ho deciso di visitarne due: il mercatino di San Juan, sul quale ho già scritto un post ad ottobre, e il nuovo mercatino artigianale da Atzarò del quale vi parlerò prossimamente.
Il vento di tramontana portava un’ aria un pò fredda dal nord, ma in qualche angolino riparato e con il sole si stava veramente bene.
La strada per arrivare a San Juan dal sud dell’ isola è molto bella, attraversa la campagna ibizenca tra i campi color verde acceso in questo periodo dell’ anno.
San Juan, che si sviluppa principalmente sulla strada principale, è un paesino tranquillo in una zona collinare con le sue casette e la chiesa bianchi, ma la domenica si trasforma e si ravviva di musica e colori, gente di tutte le nazionalità , artigiani e produttori, creatori di moda ed artisti.
Una delle ragione per cui vado, oltre che per ritrovare amici, è comprare la frutta e la verdura dal caro Eugenio, produttore dell’ Ecuador che vive qua ad Ibiza, e che ha sempre una grande scelta magnifica per i miei frullati e succhi freschi, e per prendere il pane e dolcetti vari vegani ed organici e Raw Food di “Raices de Ibiza”, una coppia spagnola sempre sorridente e gentilissima.
Vi consiglio di provare il pan de Xeixa, un antico cereale che proviene dall’ Asia occidentale, e che da poco si è ripreso a essere coltivato qua ad Ibiza.
Lo trovo molto digeribile e dal sapore dolce e delizioso. Veramente da provare.
Sicuramente non sarà l’ ultimo post in cui parlo di questo mercatino quindi mi tengo qualche chicca per le prossime volte. 🙂

Salinas is always an extraordinary beach, with its colors, its light and the blue of the sea. Now in the winter time it’ s the best moment to enjoy it. i love to walk until the old tower or in the little beaches protected by the decorated rocks.
I spent a wonderful afternoon to collaborate with the new project of the of the designer Elke Riedl von Riedenstein, creator of Sacred Love Child, Nitiagati Ananda, artist and spiritual teacher and Zel Nonnenber, artist and photographer.
Even if the wind was little strong, it was the perfect day and these are the first pictures coming out.

Salinas è sempre straordinaria, con i suoi colori incredibili, la luminosità e il colore azzurro del mare e ora se ne puà apprezzare la pace e la tranquillità nell’ inverno Ibizenco. Adoro passeggiarvi fino all’ antica torre o nelle calette decorate da sculture nella roccia, protetti dal vento e baciati dal sole anche nelle giornate più fresche.
Ho trascorso un bel pomeriggio per collaborare nel progetto della designer Elke Riedl von Riedenstein, creatrice di Sacred Love Child, l’ artista e maestro spirituale Nitiagati Ananada e al fotografo e artista Zel Nonnenberg.
Nonostante la leggera brezza, la giornata era perfetta e queste sono le prime foto elaborate da Zel.
