My Secret Ibiza

Ibiza is like a treasure chest that you can discover little by little. There are a lot of wonderful places, mostly known by people, but there are also places hidden like precious stones that only few people know. To get there you have to take little paths, trough pine forests and rocks.

Few days ago i have been back in one of the place i like the most, Pou des Lleò. I have already written a post about its beautiful nature and archaeological and Historical importance.

It is located in the north-east part of Ibiza. To get there go to Santa Eulalia and then direction to San Carles. When you arrive to this little village, find Bar Anita, then turn left in direction of Figueral and Pou des Lleò.

When you arrive to the little beach you can park the car and you have two beautiful walks with Tagomago island view.

I will dedicate my next post to this magical island.

Ibiza è uno scrigno prezioso che si scopre pian piano, conserva luoghi meravigliosi in parte conosciuti da tutti, ma altri che ancora restano come pietre preziose per i pochi che si avventurano nei sentieri, tra le pinete e le rocce.

Qualche giorno fa sono tornata in una delle zone che amo di più, Pou des Lleò, del quale ho già parlato in un altro post sia sulla sua bellezza naturalistica che della sua importanza storico- archeologica.

Siamo nella parte nord est dell’ isola, attraversata Santa Eulalia dovete raggiungere San Carles e dopo essere passati per il paese, all’ incrocio con il famoso Bar Anita, andate a sinistra e seguite le indicazioni per Figueral e Pou des Lleò.

Arrivati nella piccola spiaggetta potete parcheggiare la macchina e sia nella parte che va verso nord che quella verso sud ci sono passeggiate molto belle con vista su Tagomago, la seconda isola più grande dopo Sa Conillera.

Gourmet Lunch at Marcello Leoni’ s Restaurant

I was at lunch in the new restaurant of Chef Marcello Leoni , near in the Bolognas fair neighborhood, built in the new structure called “Porta Europe”, contemporary reminiscent of the old city gates, for a very special event .

As you already know, I’m a good and qualitative food lover. Above all it needs to be made with respect of the animals , so my choices always go to those restaurants that can offer dishes that are also for me: a journey through the flavors but following my ethics .

This modern restaurant by the external shape of a whale was a really big and nice surprise, unique in Bologna : light wood , carpets , high ceilings , soft lighting, a delicate music and sound-proofing from outside, classic and modern at the same time .

Open spaces, the soft and warm atmosphere give the feeling of being at home, where you have pleasure to relax and spend time .

The service is perfect and friendly. I had a big pleasure of speaking with Chef Marcello Leoni, who like a real host, welcomes guests with kindness and gives his culinary sugestions.

The weather was not so cold so I opted for this look that reminded me the trip to Peru with the poncho in wool , but combined with the boot wedge high for a touch more elegant, considering the occasion .

I hope you enjoy it and I recommend , if you go to Bologna, to try this experience of flavors .

L’ altro giorno per un evento molto speciale sono stata a pranzo nel nuovo ristorante dello Chef Marcello Leoni, nella zona fieristica di Bologna, costruito all’ inerno della nuova struttura chiamata Porta Europa, che ricorda in chiave contemporanea le antiche porte della città.

Come già sapete sono un’ amante della buona cucina, non come quantità, ma come qualità, e soprattutto nel rispetto degli animali, quindi le mie scelte vanno sempre verso quei ristoranti che possano offrire anche per me piatti che siano si un viaggio nei sapori ma seguendo la mia etica.

Questo modernissimo ristorante dalla forma esterna di una balena è stata una gradita e inaspettata sorpresa, veramente unico nel panorama bolognese: legno chiaro, tappeti, soffitti altissimi, luce soffusa, una musica delicata e completamente insonorizzato dall’ esterno, classico e moderno al tempo stesso.

Gli spazi ampi, l’ atmosfera soffusa e calda danno la sensazione di trovarsi nell’ intimità di una casa, dove si ha piacere di rilassarsi e trascorrere del tempo.

Il servizio perfetto e cordiale, e il piacere di parlare con lo Chef Marcello Leoni, che come un vero anfitrione, accoglie gli ospiti con la sua gentilezza e dona i suoi consigli culinari.

Per la giornata non troppo fredda ho optato per questo look che mi ha ricordato il viaggio in Perù con il poncho in lana, ma abbinato allo stivale con zeppa altissima per un tocco più elegante vista l’ occasione.

Spero vi piaccia e vi consiglio, se passate per Bologna, di provare questa esperienza di sapori.

“Il Mare d’ Inverno”…Sa Caleta

…Il Mare d’ inverno…The sea during winter time…it was a famous song of the italian singer Loredana Bertè.

In Ibiza we have mainly two season: the summer which is hot and caotic and the one we call generically winter, the best time for enjoying the island and its nature.

One of the beaches i prefer in Ibiza is Sa Caleta, in the south west part of the island.

Sa Caleta is a very important arqueological site because it was the first Phoenician site in the island in the 8th century B.C.

The red earth and the blue sea are beautiful.

The restaurant Sa Caleta, just nearby the beach, is perfect also for a vegetarian: i love the view, the atmosphere and the fresh saladas…..And if you like coffe you have absolutly to taste the Caffè Caleta with spices and fruits.

The outfit?? This year i felt in love with pastel color and in particular light blue and pink. I have been inspired by the Furla Candy collection in plastic and pvc , very useful when you go to the beach or even in the night.

..Il Mare d’ inverno…diceva la famosa canzone di Loredana Bertè…

Ad Ibiza esistono due stagioni: quella estiva, calda, movimentata e con tanti turisti da tutto il mondo e la stagione che generalizzando chiamiamo l’ inverno, quando tutto si calma, le spiagge sono tranquille e libere e per noi che viviamo tutto l’ anno nell’ isla blanca è il momento per godersi la pace della sua natura.

Una delle spiagge che più mi piacciono tutto l’ anno, è Sa Caleta, nella zona sud- ovest dell’ isola al lato della quale fu fondato il primo insediamento fenicio nell’ VIII secolo a. C., quindi lugo di grande interesse storico ed archeologico.

La terra rossa della falesia è impressionante e il mare è color azzurro cielo.

Il ristorante omonimo che si trova nelle adiacenze della spiaggia, è perfetto anche per una vegetariana come me, e soprattutto l’ insalata di fichi, miele e roquefort è una vera e propria delizia. Per chi ama la cucina di mare e più tradizionale viene considerato uno dei migliori dell’ isola.

Se vi piace il caffè, dovete assolutamente assaggiare il Caffè Caleta, un caffè servito dentro il coccio, fatto flambè davanti a voi e profumato con scorza d’arancia e spezie.

Il look?? Quest’ anno mi sono innamorata dei colori pastello e soprattutto questo abbinamento di colori: l’ azzurro acqua e il rosa confetto.

Prendendo ispirazione dalla linea Candy di Furla, trovo comodissime queste borsette in plastica rigida e questa è un vero e proprio bijoux.

Sweet Colors Time

Here in Ibiza we love to dress with bright colors all year long. It’ s quite different from the city environment where we have the tendency to dress with darker colors like black, grey and brown.

On a beautiful autumn day like this with the blue sky and the earth which becomes more and more green, full of flowers and herbs, I love to dress up with my favorite colors, pink and lilac .

Today I choose this lilac wool poncho that I found in Hippodromo, the big second hand market, every Saturday in the area of the Hippodrome of Ibiza.

If you have a lot of patience and time, you can really find nice things with amazing prices.

Soon I will make some specific posts on my own ” treasure hunts ” because I really like mix things taken in different places.

The psychedelic leggings by Emilio Pucci gives the italian touch to my look. I found them years ago in Bologna but i think they are perfect for Ibiza.

Ben diverso dall’ ambiente cittadino in cui si ha la tendenza a vestirsi con colori dai toni più scuri, qua ad Ibiza i colori sgargianti sono di moda tutto l’ anno.

In una bella giornata autunnale come questa con il cielo azzurro e la terra che diviene sempre più verde coperta di fiori ed erbe aromatiche, adoro vestirmi con i miei colori preferiti, il rosa e il lilla.

La location è veramente speciale, un’ antica finca, nascosta dalla vegetazione nella campagna ibizenca dove mi piace andare a passeggiare e fare yoga nelle tiepide mattine d’ autunno.

Oggi ho scelto tra le varie cose questo poncho in lana lilla che ho trovato all’ “Hippodromo”, il mercato delle “Pulci”, che ogni sabato viene allestito nell’ area dell’ ippodromo di Ibiza e dove, se avete pazienza, potete trovare cose veramente belle e a dei prezzi sbalorditivi. Presto farò qualche articolo specifico proprio sulle mie “Caccie al Tesoro” perchè mi piace molto abbinare capi presi in diversi contesti.

Il tocco all’ italiana lo danno questi leggings un pò psichedelici di Emilio Pucci trovati anni fa a Bologna e perfetti per Ibiza.:)
