Sweet Colors Time

Here in Ibiza we love to dress with bright colors all year long. It’ s quite different from the city environment where we have the tendency to dress with darker colors like black, grey and brown.

On a beautiful autumn day like this with the blue sky and the earth which becomes more and more green, full of flowers and herbs, I love to dress up with my favorite colors, pink and lilac .

Today I choose this lilac wool poncho that I found in Hippodromo, the big second hand market, every Saturday in the area of the Hippodrome of Ibiza.

If you have a lot of patience and time, you can really find nice things with amazing prices.

Soon I will make some specific posts on my own ” treasure hunts ” because I really like mix things taken in different places.

The psychedelic leggings by Emilio Pucci gives the italian touch to my look. I found them years ago in Bologna but i think they are perfect for Ibiza.

Ben diverso dall’ ambiente cittadino in cui si ha la tendenza a vestirsi con colori dai toni più scuri, qua ad Ibiza i colori sgargianti sono di moda tutto l’ anno.

In una bella giornata autunnale come questa con il cielo azzurro e la terra che diviene sempre più verde coperta di fiori ed erbe aromatiche, adoro vestirmi con i miei colori preferiti, il rosa e il lilla.

La location è veramente speciale, un’ antica finca, nascosta dalla vegetazione nella campagna ibizenca dove mi piace andare a passeggiare e fare yoga nelle tiepide mattine d’ autunno.

Oggi ho scelto tra le varie cose questo poncho in lana lilla che ho trovato all’ “Hippodromo”, il mercato delle “Pulci”, che ogni sabato viene allestito nell’ area dell’ ippodromo di Ibiza e dove, se avete pazienza, potete trovare cose veramente belle e a dei prezzi sbalorditivi. Presto farò qualche articolo specifico proprio sulle mie “Caccie al Tesoro” perchè mi piace molto abbinare capi presi in diversi contesti.

Il tocco all’ italiana lo danno questi leggings un pò psichedelici di Emilio Pucci trovati anni fa a Bologna e perfetti per Ibiza.:)

Autumn Day in Ibiza

In November sunny days alternate with gray and rainy days. I appreciate also these moments when the colors and scents change and I’m happy to wear a warmer winter look.

In Ibiza we are lucky because the winter is quite mild and temperatures hardly drop below 10 degrees: when the sun is shining and it’s not too windy it’s a pleasure to stay in the open air and on the beach .

Today I was ready to go for my Hatha Yoga lesson in the Buddhist center of San Lorenzo and i decided to wear something practical and warm, so my pick was my beloved poncho. Even though I bought it at Zara, it reminds me very much my travels in central and South America . Maybe because of that i wear also the blue and gold, Cashinahua Indian handmade bracelet with necklace and bracelets made of Lapis Lazuli, beautiful blue stone which represented the sky with his firmament for ancient Egyptians.

Putting all these things together made me do a real journey around the world within my imagination !! 🙂

A novembre ad Ibiza, tra belle giornate di sole, si alternano anche delle giornate più grigie e piovose, ma non essendo l’ abitudine, si apprezzano anche questi momenti in cui i colori e i profumi cambiano e si ha voglia di indossare anche un look più caldo ed invernale.

Siamo fortunati perché comunque l’ inverno è sempre mite, difficilmente le temperature scendono sotto i 10 gradi e quando c’è il sole e si è riparati si può tranquillamente stare all’ aria aperta e in spiaggia.

Oggi ero pronta per andare a fare la mia lezione di Hatha Yoga nel centro buddista di San Lorenzo e per essere pratica, calda e veloce, non poteva mancare il mio adorato poncho che, nonostante io l’ abbia preso da Zara, mi ricorda molto i miei viaggi in centro e sud America. Forse per quello l’ ho abbinato con un bracciale di artigianato indiano blu e oro insieme a collana e bracciali in Lapislazzuli, la pietra blu, che per gli Egizi rappresentava il cielo con il suo firmamento.

Indossare tutte queste cose mi fa fare un vero proprio viaggio per il mondo con la mia immaginazione!!:)

San Carles de Peralta

Day of work and chat in San Carles de Peralta , a pretty village in the northeast of Ibiza, only 10 minutes from Santa Eulalia. Typical white church contrasting with the deep blue color of the sky. I recommend you to come and take a walk here to breathe the fresh air and feel the peaceful rhythm which is very different from the more caotic south of the island. Do not miss the Bar Anita , one of the oldest bars and restaurants of the island since the time of hippies: you can still see the little letterboxes on the walls, many of which are still in use today. Perfect from breakfast to dinner.

My look today? Summer outfit with this cotton tunic style Adlib taken in Dalt Vila, but with a wool vest in rose because of the cool autumn air. Not forgetting my “Indianini” boots comfortable for all seasons !!

Giornata di lavoro e chiacchiere a San Carles de Peralta, un grazioso paesino nel nord est di Ibiza a 10 minuti da Santa Eulalia. Caratterizzato dalla tipica chiesa bianca che contrasta con il colore blu intenso del cielo Vi consiglio di venire a farvi una passeggiata per respirare la fresca aria e percepire il ritmo tranquillo ben diverso dal movimentato sud dell’ isola e questo in tutte le stagioni. Assolutamente da non perdere il Bar Anita, uno dei bar ristoranti storici dell’ isola già dai tempi degli hippy: vi potete ancora vedere le buchette delle lettere appese alle pareti, molte delle quali ancora oggi in uso. Perfetto dalla colazione alla cena. Il mio look di oggi? Diciamo estivo con questa tunica di cotone in stile Adlib presa a Dalt Vila, ma con un gilet di lana in rosa antico perchè la fresca aria autunnale inizia a farsi sentire. Non mancano mai i miei indiani comodi per tutte le stagioni!!

Marina Ibiza

After work time in Marina Ibiza Harbour.

I love to walk in Marina Ibiza , especially in this most peaceful time of year, and go to take a delicious green tea in “Cappuccino” in front of the magnificent view of Dalt Vila. The walls seen from a distance seem even more impressive and the tower of the cathedral seems to touch the sky ! Always exciting!

Mi piace passeggiare in Marina Ibiza, soprattutto in questo periodo più tranquillo dell’ anno , e prendere un tè verde da Cappuccino con davanti la meravigliosa vista di Dalt Vila.

Le mura vista da lontano sembrano ancora più imponenti e la torre della cattedrale sembra toccare il cielo! Sempre emozionante!
