Surf Lounge Ibiza

Rock music, good food, sea view, friends and many activities!! What can I ask more for a Saturday in Ibiza?

The truth is I was eager to tell this beautiful day we spent in Surf Lounge Ibiza in San Antonio on the occasion of the Spring Festival. I was very surprised and pleased to find such an original and different place on the island where the quality of gastronomy, style, fun and above all the pool with artificial waves where you can surf, a sport both that children and adults can practice safely.

Thanks to Ibiza Surf Lounge’s marketing manager, Berni Faus, we visited throughout and learn more about his philosophy: he told us about the idea to have a nice, fun, qualitative place but at the same time with affordable prices to all budgets! The idea to have music with local bands, sports, nice swimming pool and chill out area make this place really special.

We also visited the Beach Box Gym, the first energetically self-sufficient beach gym in the world. This project won the Young Entrepreneurs Prize 2016. The spinning bikes with sea view catched my attention!!!!

Surf Lounge Ibiza opened its doors on March 26^th, unveiling some of its new products for the season and getting ahead of most leisure establishments on the island.

Surf Lounge Ibiza will host the upcoming edition of the European Flowboarding Championships 2016 next June. This event will gather together the main stars of this sports discipline from Holland, Germany, England, Spain, Finland, France and Italy. This event is the sequel of the scoring event that was held here last October. This time, one of the most important trophies in the world will be disputed.

So I think this is a place to go and to visit when you come to Ibiza!!! Stay tuned with all their events!!!

Música rock, buena comida, vista al mar, amigos y muchas actividades!! Que se puede pedir mas para un Sábado en Ibiza?

La verdad es que tenia muchas ganas de contaros de este día tan bonito que pasamos en Surf Lounge Ibiza en San Antonio en ocasión de la fiesta de Primavera. Me quedé muy sorprendida y contenta de encontrar un sitio tan original y diferente en la isla donde se unen la calidad de la gastronomía, estilo, la diversión y sobre todo una piscina con olas artificiales donde se puede practicar Surf, un deporte para niños y adultos que se practica con total seguridad.

Gracias a Berni Faus, responsable marketing, pudimos visitar todo el establecimiento y conocer mas a fondo su filosofía: nos contó del nuevo menú que estrenaron por primera vez y pudimos disfrutar, de las fiestas que organizaran durante el verano, por supuesto del Surf y del Beach Box Gym, el único gimnasio en playa autoabastecible del mundo. Y además de ser un sitio muy atractivo y divertido su idea es de tener precios adecuados a todos los bolsillos!!!

Surf Lounge Ibiza abrió sus puertas el pasado 26 de marzo descubriendo así algunas de sus novedades para la temporada y adelantándose a la mayor parte de espacios de ocio de la isla.

El establecimiento acogerá también el próximo mes de junio el European Flowboarding Championship 2016, una cita que traerá a la isla los principales deportistas de esta modalidad de Holanda, Alemania, Inglaterra, España, Finlandia, Francia e Italia. Este evento es la secuela de la prueba puntuable que ya acogió el pasado mes de octubre y que, en esta ocasión, se jugarán uno de los títulos más importantes del mundo.

Un sitio para visitar cuando estéis en la isla!!

Enjoy San Jordi day with Elisa Pomar new Jewelry Collection

Precious jewellery, red roses and an enigmatic novel all in the setting of Ibiza’s Old Town, what more could I have asked for on San Jordi Day?

I was invited to the presentation of the new limited edition jewellery collection by Elisa Pomar, who I recently interviewed for Vintage Market Ibiza. (See here)

This was a special occasion, in which Elisa presented her new creations, which combine Rhombus stone, jewels, Swarovski crystals, white and rose gold. The signature elements of these eye-catching necklaces, chokers and bracelets are their colours, sparkle and the unique craftsmanship, which goes into their manufacture. This is the true identity of one of the most creative designers in Ibiza.

Together with my blogger colleagues, we were able to view these gorgeous pieces and wear them during the event. My choice was a sweet and elegant piece made from rose gold and Swarovski crystals, which I of course fell head over heels in love with.

During the event the writer, singer and director Chris Martos was signing copies of his new book “El Codigo“. With Ibiza as its backdrop, this novel takes places in a setting of love, magic and mystery. A real page-turner I started to devour this book and couldn’t wait to get to the end, although its never good for something we like to come to an end.

It was a lovely moment, seeing and chatting with my fellow bloggers, the designer Tony Bonet and I would especially like to thank Montse from Imam Comunicación who always manages to get each detail down to a T.

As you can see life in Ibiza continues to be great and its just the start of the season.

Of course, if you are coming to the island, I encourage you to visit Elisa Pomar’s boutique, which I’m sure you will love.

Joyas preciosas, rosas rojas, una novela enigmática en el marco de Ibiza vieja? ¿Qué más podría pedir para celebrar el dia de San Jordi?

Fui invitada a la presentación de la nueva colección limitada de la diseñadora de joyas Elisa Pomar, que hace poco entrevistè para Vintage Market Ibiza. ( Ver aqui)

En esta ocasión especial, Elisa presentó sus nuevas creaciones, en las que por primera vez aúna los tradicionales rombos y botones payeses en oro blanco, rosa y plata, con cristales de Swarovski. Collares, pendientes y pulseras en los que destacan el color y el brillo, junto con partes de las emprendada que es ya la seña de identidad de una de las creadoras más reconocidas de Ibiza

Junto con mis colegas bloggers, pudimos ver a estas maravillas y llevarlas durante el evento. Mi elección fue el conjunto muy dulce y elegante en oro rosa con Swarovski: por supuesto me enamoré.

Durante el evento el escritor, cantante y director de cine Chris Martos estaba firmando ejemplares de su libro “El Código“, una novela ambientada en Ibiza, amor, magia y misterio, que ya empecé a leer y con ganas de descubrir el final, aunque cuando algo nos gusta no queremos que acabe.

Fue un momento muy agradable, incluso para ver y hablar com mis colegas bloggers, el diseñador Tony Bonet y un agradecimiento especial a Montse de Imam Comunicación, siempre perfecta en organizar cada detalle.

Así que la vida en Ibiza sigue muy bien y es sólo el principio de la temporada.

Obviamente, si vais a venir a la isla, os invito a visitar la boutique Elisa Pomar, que seguramente os encantará.

Meeting the Jewelry Designer Elisa Pomar for Vintage Market Ibiza

Good morning my dear Ibiza Lover!

Today I want to tell you about my meeting with the most famous jewelry designer of Ibiza, Elisa Pomar.

Thanks for the collaboration I have with Vintage Market Ibiza, I had the opportunity to meet Elisa and spend a pleasant time with her, discovering her story and the one of her beautiful and precious jewels.

Dolce and Gabbana are so in love with them to use in their fashion shows and fashion campaigns bringing the old goldsmith tradition of Ibiza in the most important international catwalks. When they are in Ibiza they never fail to visit her in the boutique of the ancient habour.

We met for the first time last year during an event that you may remember (see post here), but thanks to this interview I could really appreciate and understand the creativity and passion behind her work, her love for Ibiza for its ancient tradition.

These moments are very precious for me and my adventure on the small Eivissa because it allows me to meet very special people whose beauty of creation is in the heart of those who create them, and this is what I will take with me after meeting Elisa.

Buenos días Ibiza Lover!

Hoy quiero contaros de mi encuentro con la diseñadora de joyas mas famosa de Ibiza, Elisa Pomar, que con sus creaciones està dando la vuelta al mundo.

Como colaboradora de Vintage Market Ibiza tuve la oportunidad de entervistar Elisa pasando un rato muy agradable con ella, entrando más en detalle sobre su historia y la de sus bellas y preciosas joyas.

Hasta los diseñadores de moda Dolce & Gabbana se han enamorado de sus joyas tanto que les encantan para sus desfiles y campañas de moda. Asì que la tradición orfebre de Ibiza està en las pasarelas internacionales más importantes del mundo y cuando están en la isla blanca siempre van a hacerle visita en su boutique en el puerto.

Nos conocimos ya el año pasado durante un evento (ver post aquí), pero es gracias a esta entrevista que realmente he podido apreciar y entender la creatividad y la pasión detrás de su trabajo, su amor por Ibiza por su antigua tradición.

Estos momentos son muy importantes para mí y mi aventura en la pequeña Eivissa porque me permite conocer gente muy especial cuya belleza de la creación está en el corazón de las personas que los crean, y esto llevarè como recuerdo conmigo después este encuentro con Elisa.

Buongiorno miei cari Ibiza Lover!

Oggi vi voglio raccontare del mio incontro con la designer di gioielli più famosa di Ibiza, Elisa Pomar, che con le sue creazioni sta facendo parlare di sè in tutto il mondo.

Nelle veci di collaboratrice per Vintage Market Ibiza, ho avuto l’ opportunità di incontrare Elisa e passare un piacevole momento assieme a lei, entrando più in dettaglio nella storia e quella dei suoi splendidi e preziosi gioielli. Gli stilisti Dolce e Gabbana se ne sono così innamorati da volerli nelle loro sfilate e campagne moda portando così l’ antica tradizione orafa di Ibiza nelle passerelle più importanti del mondo e quando vengono nell’ isla blanca non mancano mai di farle visita nella loro boutique nelle vie del Porto.

C’ eravamo conosciute l’ anno scorso nel corso di un evento che forse ricorderete ( vedi post qui), ma sicuramente grazie a questa intervista ho potuto veramente apprezzare e capire la creatività e la passione dietro al suo lavoro, il suo amore per Ibiza e per la sua antica tradizione.

Questi momenti sono molto preziosi per me e nella mia avventura sulla piccola Eivissa perchè mi permettono di conoscere persone veramente speciali la cui bellezza delle creazioni sta nel cuore di chi le crea, e questo porterò con me dopo l’ incontro con Elisa.

Christmas Shopping in Ibiza

Hola a todos!!!

Quiero empezar ya a desearos una Feliz Navidad ya que faltan muy pocos dias y os dejo una fotitas que hice mientras que buscaba regalitos de Navidad!!!

Hay muchas tiendas chulisimas aqui en la isla asi que es una pasada ir de compras y disfrutar de sitios tan bonitos y super bien decorados.
