10 things to fall in Love with Val Gardena in Winter time

how are you?? As you can see I’ m still travelling and today I want to give you some suggestions and show you some pictures of my amazing week in Val Gardena. I love, love, love this place!!

I hope you enjoy them and that one day you can fall in Love too with Grodental!!!

1. Skiing

Thanks of DolomitiSuperSki you can enjoy 1200 km of slopes with just one skipass.

You can’t miss Saslong ski word cup slope, the largest slope from Seceda to Ortisei with a stop at Val d’ Anna Restaurant, Cir slope at Dantercepies and Piz Sella area with the beautiful view of Sassolungo mountain.

2. The Dolomites

Dolomites are Unesco World Heritage since 2009. Even if you don’t ski you will feel the powerful energy of these incredible mountains. In particular in Val Gardena the view of Sassolungo and Sella Mountain is impressive. I am totally in Love.

3. Having a walk or cross country skiing in Vallunga

I did it one morning when the weather was not so good for skiing and it was a very nice and meditative experience in contact with silence and nature. You can rent all the equipment in a little house nearby.

4. Tasting traditional Food and Drinks

You must try typical food and drinks like Bombardino, Strudel and Canederli..:)

4. Aperitive and Food at Rifugio Comici

I suggest you to spend a nice time at Rifugio Comici with music, the best wines and champagne, and a great gourmet menu. Check the website for all their events.

5. Shopping time in Ortisei

Ortisei is the main village f the Valley and it’s beutiful with its wooden decorated and painted houses. If you like shopping as I think you will love the quality of the different shops.

This time I bought a nice red hat 🙂

6.Relax&Spa

After a long day of skiing it’s time to relax and I suggest you the Adler Spa Resort in the center of Ortisei and Hotel Gran Baita in Selva.

7. Villa Frainela

If you like exotic teas and handmade food, you can’t miss a lunch at Villa Frainela. Try different cakes because are unique.

8. Gourmet Kitchen at SooChic Restaurant & Lounge Bar

This is the best place to be. I love to go there in the morning for a tea or a lunch at the Sun but also to spend a beautiful and tasty night with friends. The design furniture makes this place unique in the Valley.

9. A night at Luis Keller

If you want to go out at night you have to go to Luis keller, one of the oldest Apres Ski in Selva with typical wood furniture. You have to try the little apple shots. Let’s have fun!!!

10. Driving at night to Passo Sella

This is my favourite place when I go to Selva. In the night with the silence I love driving to Passo Sella to enjoy the view of Sassolungo and Sella.

For me It’ s a very strong sensation of Love and Peace.

10 restaurants to eat at in Ibiza in winter time

Good morning Ibiza Lovers!

How are you? Today I want to give you some useful tips on where to go eat in Ibiza during the winter season.

It’s well known that the majority of the restaurants are closed but every year there is an exponentially increase of the activities that decide to remain open all year long, as well as the restaurants offering natural and organic food.

Here are my recommendations based on the one I love the most.

Oggi voglio darvi qualche consiglio utile su dove andare a mangiare sull’ isola nella “stagione invernale”. Si sa che la maggior parte dei locali sono chiusi, ma ogni anno stanno esponenzialmente aumentando le attività che decidono di rimanere aperte, come stanno aumentando i ristoranti che propongono una cucina naturale e biologica.

Ecco i miei consigli su quelli che amo di più.

Ecocentro- Santa Gertrudis

As a lover of organic vegetarian food, this is one of my favorite places. At lunch time they make a delicious menu and if the sun is shining it is great to enjoy the garden.

Da amante della cucina vegetariana, sana e biologica, questo è uno dei miei posti preferiti. Tra l’ altro per i residente sull’ isola fanno una tessera socio che permette di avere uno sconto sia al ristorante che nella boutique. A pranzo fanno ogni giorno un menù delizioso e se c’è il sole è bellissimo stare anche in giardino.

Aubergine- Carr. Santa Gertrudis- San Miguel

It is a delightful restaurant opened in 2015 and it’s located in an old finca with a beautiful garden. All products are organic and local.

Delizioso ristorante aperto nel 2015 in un’ antica finca ristrutturata con un giardino meraviglioso e curato. Tutti i prodotti sono biologici e locali.

La Paloma- San Lorenzo

La Paloma is an institution in Ibiza, a unique place for enchantment and magic of the landscape that surrounds it. La Paloma is located in the countryside of San Lorenzo and you can enjoy a very nice mediterranean menu. The Focaccia with fresh vegetables is amazing.

E’ una istituzione ad Ibiza, un luogo unico per incanto e la magia del paesaggio che lo circonda. La Paloma si trova in un quadro veramente bucolico nella campagna di San Lorenzo e potete degustare un menù molto ricco e dai sapori mediterranei. Il pinzimonio con la focaccia sono buonissimi.

Hostal La Torre- S. Antonio

I can say that the view you can enjoy from Hostal La Torre is one of the most spectacular of the island, especially at sunset time. It is located just north of San Antonio in a rocky coast area right on the front line of the sea. The atmosphere is truly magical.

Posso dire con certezza che la vista che si può godere dall’ Hostal La Torre è una delle più spettacolari dell’ isola, soprattutto all’ ora del tramonto. Si trova poco a nord di San Antonio in una zona di costa rocciosa proprio in prima linea di mare. Ve lo consiglio sia per pranzo, per un apertitivo all’ ora del tramonto, ma anche per cena perchè l’ atmosfera è veramente magica.

Restaurante Martina- Cala Martina

Do you want to eat with your feet in the sand in one of the most authentic beaches of Ibiza? ! So just go to Cala Martina at Restaurant Martina, a few km from Santa Eulalia, and enjoy the nice food: from typical Paella to Spanish tortilla, I am sure that you will be satisfied.

Mangiare con i piedi sulla sabbia in una delle spiaggie più autentiche di Ibiza? Certo che si!! Basta andare a Cala Martina a pochi km da Santa Eulalia, uno dei luoghi che più è nel mio cuore. Da Pepe al ristorante Martina potrete veramente dire “oggi ho mangiato in riva al mare”. Dalla paella alla tortilla spagnola, son sicura che resterete soddisfatti.

Sa Caleta

The restaurant is located in the famous beach of Sa Caleta where the first Phoenician settlement is. I really like it because it is pleasant to eat outside on the terrace but also inside because the wooden structure reminds me of those of my bella Italia.

Apart from the typical fish dishes, I always take the delicious salad with fig, Roquefort, walnuts and honey which is a real delight and I do not ever miss the Caleta coffee, spiced coffee typical of Ibiza, served in earthenware cups .

E’ il tipico ristorante ibizenco e si trova nella omonima e famosa spiaggia di Sa Caleta proprio a fianco del primo insediamento fenicio sull’ isola. Mi piace molto perchè è piacevole sia mangiare fuori nella terrazza quando il tempo lo permette, sia all’ interno perchè la struttura in legno mi ricorda molto quelle della mia bell’ Italia oltre ad essere arredato con gusto.

A parte i piatti tipici di pesce, io prendo sempre la buonissima insalata con fichi, Roquefort, noci e miele che è una vera e propria delizia e non mi faccio mai mancare il caffè Caleta, caffè speziato tipico di Ibiza, servito nelle tazzine di coccio.

La Escollera

La Escollera It is located in the beautiful Es Cavallet beach, with this privileged location, it is one of the most loved restaurants on the island, take a look the wonderful view can be enjoyed from the terrace. The menu is very good and with a good selection for everybody so I definitely recommend it.

Cotton beach Club

I had already told you in my old post (go here) about this beautiful beach club opened in 2014 in one of the most spectacular beaches in Ibiza, Cala Tarida. Being in the high part of the beach you can enjoy a breathtaking view.
Già vi avevo parlato in un mio post ( vai qui ) di questo nuovo beach club aperto nel 2014 in una delle più spettacolari spiagge di Ibiza, Cala Tarida. Trovandosi nella parte alta della spiaggia si può godere di un’ imperdibile vista mozzafiato.

Atzaro Beach

If you want to enjoy the blue water of Cala Nova, the wonderful view of Tagomago, and a cool and nice ambient with the colors of the Sea, you must visit Atzaro Beach for having an amazing lunch or chilling out in a beautiful winter’ s day. Atzaro family is never wrong and even its beach restaurant is a marvel. Do not miss it !!

L’ acqua azzurra di Cala Nova, la meravigliosa vista su Tagomago, l’ arredamento fresco e curato che riprende i colori del Mare. Cosa chiedere di più per un pranzo all’ aria aperta in una bella giornata d’ inverno? Atzarò non sbaglia mai e anche il suo beach restaurant è una meraviglia. Non perdetevelo!!

A Mi Manera- Formentera

This is my favorite Italian restaurant of Pitiuses. When I go to Formentera I can’t miss it because the risotto “A Mi Manera” reminds me 100% the true flavors of Italian cuisine.

Il mio ristorante italiano preferito in assoluto delle Pitiuse. Quando vado a Formentera è diventata una mia tappa fissa perchè il risotto “A Mi Manera” mi ricorda al 100% i veri sapori della cucina italiana.

Bohochic in Bologna

Hola a todos!!

Sigo con mis posts para contaros de mi viaje a Italia. Si me preguntais lo que me gusta de Bolonia, podría contestar tantas cosas como su historia, sus colinas, la atmósfera mágica del centro de la ciudad, las calles con sus símbolos misteriosos, y también los kilómetros y kilómetros de pórticos que te permiten pasear y disfrutar de la ciudad, incluso en días de lluvia.

El porche más largo llega hasta en la cima de la colina de la Guardia donde se encuentra la Basílica de San Luca tan querida por nosotros. Os prometo que pronto os voy hacer un post para contaros del paseo que conduce a su corazón sagrado donde esta’ la Virgen Negra que viene de lo este, protectora de la ciudad.

Para mi outfit de ciudad llevo un vestido negro con flecos de Bershka y accesorios de la boutique de Dora Herbst. Hermoso chal, bolso decorado estilo boho y pulseras hechas a mano le dan un toque de alegría y colores cálidos tipicos de otoño.

Aprovecho de estos momentos para disfrutar del olor de los árboles admirando sus hojas y colores porque en Ibiza ahora es ya como la primavera con los campos verdes y las flores que florecen .

Espero que tengais algunas buenas ispiraciones con este outfit más de ciudad y hasta pronto aquí en On Ibiza Clouds.

Buongiorno a tutti!!!

Continuano i miei post del mio viaggio in Italia. Se mi chiedete cosa mi piaccia di Bologna, potrei dirvi tante cose come per esempio la sua storia, le sue colline, le antiche locande, l’ atmosfera magica del centro con i suoi simboli misteriosi, ma soprattutto aggiungerei i km e km di portici sotto i quali passeggiare e godersi la citta’ anche nei giorni di pioggia.

Il portico piu’ lungo arriva addirittura in cima al colle della Guardia dove si trova la basilica di San Luca tanto amata da noi bolognesi. Vi prometto che presto vi faro’ un post e mi faro’ la piacevole passeggiata che conduce verso il sacro cuore dove si trova la madonnina nera proveniente dall’ oriente e protettrice della citta’.

Per un outfit da citta’ indosso un vestito nero con frange di Bershka e accesori della boutique di Dora Herbst. Lo scialle meraviglioso, la borsa decorata in stile boho e i braccialetti fatti a mano danno quel tocco di allegria e riprendonoi colori caldi dell’ autunno.

Approfitto molto di questi momenti sentendo il profumo degli alberi ammirandone le tonalita’ calde perche’ come ben sapete a Ibiza abbiamo soprattutto foreste di pini, e grazie al clima caldo del Mediterraneo l’ autunno e’ come la primavera coi campi verdi e i fiori che sbocciano.

Spero di avervi dato delle buone idee con questo look piu’ cittadino e ci vediamo prestissimo qui su On Ibiza Clouds.

A Day in Ibiza with Hector Riccione

Hola Ibiza Lovers
¿ Cómo estáis??
¿Cuántas veces ya os hablè de los famosos indianini Hector Riccione que considero mi Must Have para cada temporada del año?
Lo que pasò aquí en Ibiza es que tuve la oportunidad de conocer personalmente a su creador, el legendario Héctor, artesano y diseñador de origen argentino que desde hace más de 30 años de trabajo crea patrones maravillosos y originales entre botas, bolsos y cinturones, apreciados internacionalmente.
Su trampolín fue en los años 70 el punto de venta de Riccione, y es precisamente en Riccione que hace muchos años me compré mis primeros indianini y me enamoré. Así que podeis imaginar lo feliz que estaba por este encuentro por lo que tengo que agradecer a Valentina Sorrenti, marketing manager de Héctor.
En el tiempo que pasamos juntos fuimos a su tienda de Vara del Rey, obviamente amueblada en estilo country western que caracteriza a todas las tiendas de Hector con las estanterias llenas de indianini que crean un arco iris de colores y te da ganas de probarles todos.
España està conquistada por sus modelos, con tiendas en Barcelona, Valencia y por supuesto Ibiza. La recién nacida es su tienda en Miami, lo que abre una nueva aventura para el brand de Riccione.
Pero en Ibiza Hector no es sólo moda, sino que también fuimos en su bar Can Rafal no lejos de Vara del Rey, donde se pueden degustar platos típicos de la cocina española y me han preparado para mi una hamburguesa vegana muy especial y deliciosa.
Paseando por el puerto hasta el portal de Ses Taules a todas las personas que encontramos y que se hacian una foto con su marco Hector Riccione, se les regalaban sus pulseras de colores y un descuento para la compra en una de sus tiendas, así que fue muy divertido.

En esta tarde Italia-España, Riccione- Ibiza llevaba para mi outfit un vestido negro con corsé y una chaqueta larga con flecos, todo hecho a mano por mi diseñadora favorita Linnea Ibiza.

Hello Ibiza Lovers

How are you?

How many times have I talked in my posts about the famous indianini Hector Riccione I consider my must-have for every season?

Well yes, that’s happened right here in Ibiza: I had the opportunity to meet personally their creator, the legendary Hector, craftsman and designer of Argentine origin who spent more than 30 years creating wonderful patterns and original boots, bags and belts, appreciated internationally. His springboard was in the 70’s the selling point of Riccione, and it is precisely in Riccione that many years ago I bought my first pair of indianini and I fell in love with immediately. So you can imagine how happy I was about this meeting for which I have to thank Valentina Sorrenti, marketing manager of Hector.

We spent some time together in Hector’s store in Vara del Rey, obviously furnished with country western style that characterizes all the Hector’s shops and the shelves filled with indianinis in all colours of the rainbow making me want to try them all. Spain is conquered by his models, having branded stores in Barcelona, Valencia and of course Ibiza. A new adventure overseas starts for the brand with freshly openned store in Miami.

Hector is present on Ibiza not only in fashion, but we were also in his bar Can Rafal, not far from Vara del Rey, where you can taste typical Spanish dishes and where they have prepared a very special and delicious vegan burgers for me.

During our little walk thru the old harbour up to the portal Ses Taules, to all the people who met us and took a photo in Hector Riccione’s frame were given colorful bracelets and a discount for the purchase in one of their stores. It was very cute and fun.

This Italian-Spanish-Riccione-Ibiza afternoon I was wearing a black dress with corset and long cardigan with fringes, all done by hand by my favorite designer Linnea Ibiza.

Buongiorno Ibiza Lovers

Come state?

Quante volte vi ho parlato nei miei post dei famosi indianini Hector Riccione che considero il mio must have per ogni stagione?

Ebbene si, è proprio successo proprio qua ad Ibiza: ho avuto l’ opportunità di conoscere personalmente il loro creatore, il mitico Hector, artigiano e stilista di origine argentina che da più di 30 anni lavora e crea modelli meravigliosi ed originali tra stivali, borse e cinture, apprezzati a livello internazionale. Il suo trampolino di lancio fu negli anni ’70 il punto vendita di Riccione, ed è proprio a Riccione che tanti anni fa comprai il primo paio di indianini e me ne innamorai subito. Potete quindi ben immaginare quanto sia stata contenta di questo incontro del quale devo ringraziare Valentina Sorrenti, marketing manager dello staff di Hector.

Nel tempo trascorso assieme siamo stati nel loro negozio di Vara del Rey, ovviamente arredato con lo stile country western che contraddistingue tutti i negozi Hector con gli indianini negli scaffali che creano un arcobaleno di colori e verrebbe voglia di provarli tutti.

La Spagna è conquistata dai suoi modelli, avendo negozi monomarca a Barcellona, Valencia e ovviamente ad Ibiza. Il nuovo nato è il loro negozio di Miami che apre una nuova avventura oltreoceano per il brand di Riccione.

Ma ad Ibiza Hector non è solo moda, ma siamo stati anche nel suo bar Can Rafal poco lontano da Vara del Rey dove si possono degustare piatti tipici della cucina spagnola e mi hanno preparato un hamburger vegan specialissimo e buonissimo.

A tutte le persone che incontravamo e facevano una foto nella loro cornice Hector Riccione, venivano regalati i loro braccialetti colorati e uno sconto per l’ acquisto in uno dei loro punti vendita, quindi è stato molto carino e divertente girare per il porto fino al portale di Ses Taules.

In questo pomeriggio Italia- Spagna, Riccione- Ibiza così speciale indosso un vestito nero con corsetto in stile gotico e cardigan lungo con frange, tutto fatto a mano dalla mia stilista preferita Linnea Ibiza.
