Hello from Madrid again!!

I spent a beautiful day with my friend Mara Fiordelli of the brand Giampaolo Giardina Jewels.

The Prado Museum was our first stop and I was so excited because I was there at the age of 10 and still remembered those wonderful paintings, especially Goya and Velasquez. I was fascinated by the Garden of Earthly Delights by Bosch, in front of which I spent at least half an hour to look at every detail.

After that we walk to the door of the Alcala, we discovered the elegant streets of Jorge y Juan and we went to visit the friends of the boutique Antonio Rivas in Calle Goya 85. I had met in Ibiza and that they greeted us warmly. I suggest you go find them if you are in Madrid because they have beautiful things !!

Then we went to our hotel in the Chueca district where we discovered the boutique “Le marchè aux pousse“, where two loving French bulldogs look at you from inside the store and as you know I loved animals I couldn’t escape from them.

We spent the evening together with our friends Pilar Rodero and Marisa and we had a great time.

Eccomi ancora nella bella Madrid per raccontarti la giornata che ho trascorso per le sue strade in compagnia della mia amica Mara Fiordelli della marca Giampaolo Giardina Jewels.

Il museo del Prado è stata la nostra prima tappa ed ero emozionatissima perchè vi ero stata all’ età di 10 anni ed ancora mi ricordavo di quei dipinti meravigliosi, in particolare Goya e Velasquez. Mi ha affascinata moltissimo per la sua originalità, il giardino delle delizie di Bosch davanti al quale ho passato almeno una mezz’ ora per guardare ogni dettaglio.

Dopo siamo andate a passeggiare fino alla porta dell’ Alcalà, per le strade eleganti di Jorge y Juan e siamo andate a trovare gli amici della boutique Antonio Rivas in Calle Goya 85 che avevo conosciuto ad Ibiza e che ci hanno accolto calorosamente. Ti consiglio di andarli a trovare se sei a Madrid perchè hanno cose bellissime!!

Dopo abbiamo proseguito verso il nostro hotel nel quartiere di Chueca dove abbiamo scoperto la boutique “Le marchè aux pousse” dove due simpaticcissimi bulldog francesi ti guardano da dentro il negozio come per dire “Beh non vieni a salutarmi?”.

La serata l’ abbiamo trascorsa insieme alle amiche Pilar Rodero e Marisa tra una chiacchera, una risata e tantissima simpatia.

A prestissimo Madrid!!!

The secret valley

Good morning!

Today I bring you to the Ibiza countryside, in one of the areas that for me are among the most magical of the island and more authentic. There is a small rocky road leading to the area called Es Broll, a valley surrounded by pine forests with many terraces dating back to the days of the Arabs. Olive trees, oranges and cultivated lands stand out in this area from the very particular microclimate.

The small stone fountain is something unique and unique on the island, I always stop there because it creates a magical atmosphere in the silence of the valley.

Bohemian style was the perfect one for wearing and the style I love most because it makes me feel free and creative. For me it’s the perfect style for Ibiza.

The beautiful skirt is from Ibiza Trendy: it’s very large and made by silk kirt, short in front and long behind. I love it!!!

September is a beautiful month to stay in Ibiza so why don’t you come here to spend some days??

Buongiorno!

Oggi ti riporto nella campagna di Ibiza, in una delle zone che per me sono tra le più magiche dell’ isola e più autentiche. C’è una piccola strada di sassi che porta nella zona chiamata Es Broll, una valle immersa nelle foreste di pini con tanti terrazzamenti che risalgono ai tempi degli arabi. Alberi di ulivo, aranci e terre coltivate risaltano in questa zona dal microclima molto particolare.

La piccola fontana in pietra è qualcosa di unico ed eccezionale sull’ isola, mi ci fermo sempre perchè crea un atmosfera magica nel silenzio della valle.

Non poteva non essere che Bohemio lo stile da indossare, quello stile che adoro, libero, creativo, quello stile perfetto per la vera Ibiza. La gonna, che fa da regina al mio look, è di Ibiza Trendy, una ampissima gonna a balze di seta rosa corta davanti e lunga dietro. Io la adoro!!!

Settembre Ibiza è bellissima quindi perchè non venire a farci un giro??

Goodmorning everyone!

Ready for “On Madrid Clouds“???

I was in Madrid the first time in 1989 when I was a little child with my parents and now it was really nice to discover this beautiful city after many years spent more in the mediterranean part of Spain, Valencia, Barcelona and now Ibiza.

Thanks to Giampaolo Giardina Ibiza Jewels, I could spend a fantastic weekend of culture, art, friends and of course fashion, starting on a Friday evening with a fashion show of six Adlib Ibiza designers at the Momad.

What I like about these events is that you always create beautiful situations, new contacts, friends, spending time together, that time we don’t have in summertime.

I chose a lace dress by Ichiana Ibiza that I paired with the earrings and bracelet of Giampaolo Giardina’s new Timeo collection and my inevitable ring of the Cactus collection.

Buongiorno a tutti!

Dopo tanti anni che mancavo nella “Capital“, questa è la seconda volta nel 2017 che viaggio da Ibiza a Madrid e devo dire che dopo tanti anni in cui ho frequentato di più la Spagna mediterranea, mi piace iniziare a scoprire anche l’ introterra.

Ero stata la prima volta nel 1989 e non avrei mai immaginato allora che vi sarei tornata per ragioni di lavoro legate alla moda, in questo caso la nostra bella moda ibizenca.

Grazie alla marca Giampaolo Giardina Ibiza Jewels e in compagnia di Mara Fiordelli ho potuto trascorrere un fantastico weekend tra cultura, arte, amici e ovviamente moda iniziando il venerdì sera con una sfilata di sei designers di Adlib Ibiza in occasione della fiera Momad.

Quello che mi piace di questi eventi è che si creano sempre situazioni belle, nuovi contatti, si rivedono gli amici e si passa del tempo assieme, quel tempo che spesso per il troppo lavoro non abbiamo.

Come outfit per la serata ho scelto un vestito in pizzo di Ichiana Ibiza che ho abbinato a orecchini e bracciale della nuova collezione Timeo di Giampaolo Giardina e il mio immancabile anello della collezione Cactus.

The tradition of Ibiza

Good morning!

Today I’m again in one of my favorite shops, Sal de Ibiza, located in the road that connects Ibiza with San Josè.

If you remember one of last post about this amazing shop, I had been focusing on the good choice of clothes they have and on their Sal de Ibiza and Exquisitè products, but there are other treasures to find out.

If you love the decor and you love Ibiza, here you can find items and accessories that reflect the tradition of the island and that can be perfect for your home.

Straw baskets, wicker tables and chairs, soft pillows are an example of what you can find. For example, I like to use the typical “payesa” beach bag as a complement to the home and if it’s the colors of Sal de Ibiza even more because I love them. And I like a lot the books telling about the beauty of the island and its tradition, to be left in good standing to always remember how much I love my island.

I recommend you visit this concept store because it’s really unique.

Oggi ti riporto in uno dei miei negozi preferiti, Sal de Ibiza, che si trova nella strada che collega Ibiza con San Josè. Nel mio post di qualche settimana mi ero soffermata sulla bella scelta di vestiti che hanno e sui loro prodotti Sal de Ibiza ed Exquisitè, ma ci sono altri tesori da scoprirvi.

Se amate l’ arredamento e amate Ibiza, qui potete trovare oggetti ed accessori che riportano alla tradizione dell’ isola e che possono essere perfetti per la vostra casa.

Ceste in paglia, tavolini e sedie in vimini, morbidi cuscini sono un esempio di quello che potete trovare. Io adoro per esempio usare la tipica borsa da spiaggia ” payesa” come complemento per la casa e se è dei colori di Sal de Ibiza ancora di più perchè li adoro. E mi piacciono moltissimo anche i libri che raccontano della bellezza dell’ isola e la sua tradizione, da lasciare in bella vista per ricordarmi sempre quanto amo la mia isola.

Ti consiglio proprio di visitare questo unico concept store perchè non ha eguali.
