Ibiza is beating all the records in numbers of tourists visiting it this year. From one side I think it’s very positive, on the other hand – I always hope that people coming to our island will show a maximum respect and will know how to appreciate its qualities. I do my best to to make known places other than those that are commonly known and being in the world of fashion I like to present you the brands or shops that called my attention by their originality.
In fact today I want to tell you about Nagel Ibiza, a new brand of wooden glasses, who was born just less than a year ago, but for its quality is proving very popular both in Ibiza and abroad.
I had the great pleasure of visiting their workshop along with the founder of this new brand, Adrian, who explained to me step by step the manufacturing process of their creations starting from wood laminate up to the finished product.
I was pleasantly surprised by the care being taken of every little detail, from the research of the wood, such as the olive and almond trees, research of models, the choice of the best lenses and originality of the product presentation.
I chose for me the model Galera made of almond tree wood and to my surprise I’ve discovered that they were customized with a dedication just for me.
It ‘s really nice to find a product of this quality, all made in Ibiza, and I can tell you that the thing that struck me most about this experience was seeing the care, love and creativity with which they manufacture these glasses and which for me are the real added value and the essence of a quality product. Think that there’s only 25 pairs manufactured per week !!!

Ibiza este año está batiendo todos los record de presencia y esto es por un lado lo veo positivo en por el otro siempre espero que las personas que vienen a nuestra isla tengan el máximo respeto y aprecien sus calidades.
Yo haré lo que pueda para haceros conocer lugares menos conocidos, y, por el tema de la moda, me gusta siempre presentaros marcas o tiendas que llaman mi atención.
De hecho, hoy quiero hablaros sobre Nagel Ibiza, una nueva marca de gafas de madera, que nació hace poco menos de un año, pero que por su calidad se está haciendo muy conocida tanto en Ibiza como en el extranjero.
Tuve el gran placer de poder visitar su laboratorio junto con el fundador de esta nueva marca, Adrian, que me explicó paso a paso el proceso de fabricación de sus creaciones a partir de la madera hasta el producto final.
Me sorprendió muchisimo el cuidado de cada detalle, desde la elección de la madera hasta la elección de las mejores lentes y la originalidad de la presentación del producto.
Elegí para mí el modelo Galera con madera de almendro y la sorpresa fue ver una dedicatoria para mí imprimida en la madera misma.
Es realmente agradable poder encontrar un producto de esta calidad, hecho en Ibiza, y lo que más me gustó sobre esta experiencia fue ver el cariño y la creatividad con la que se fabrican que para mi son el verdadero valor añadido y la esencia de un producto de calidad. De hecho solo fabrican 25 por semana.
