Red Poncho

Good morning!!

I start this new week with a fall look although I must say that you can still enjoy a wonderful sun and the beaches are full of people bathing. It ‘s really special year and the island slowly is entering its most beautiful time, when the fields are green and the flowers bloom.

This maxi poncho I wear is from ONAX Ibiza Boutique and if you follow me for a while you know I love Ponchos to protect me from the first cold days. I ‘ve paired with these jewels I found in my travels, and which are from Afghanistan. I chose those from shades of blue to match the decor of the poncho.

Buongiorno!!

Inizio questa nuova settimana con un look più autunnale anche se devo dire che a parte qualche giorno più fresco, l’ isola ancora gode di un sole meraviglioso e le spiagge sono ancora piene di gente che fa il bagno. E’ un anno veramente speciale e l’ isola pian piano sta entrando nel suo periodo più bello, quando i campi diventano verdi e i fiori sbocciano.

Questo maxi poncho che indosso è di Onax Ibiza e se mi segui da un pò sai quanto mi piacciono per proteggermi dai primi freddi. L’ ho abbinato a questi gioielli che ho trovato nei miei viaggi e che vengono dall’ Afghanistan. Ho scelto quelli dai toni del blu per abbinarli alle decorazioni del poncho.

Romantic in Milan

Good morning,

here is today ‘s last look of my days in Milan at the’ Hogan Party dinner a very nice event where I met very special people.

This outfit of the designer Virginia Vald has been one of my favorites, romantic and sensual, perfect with the gold-plated earrings by Elisa Pomar. I have to admit that Milan has surprised me, I found an avant-garde city, lively, young and definitely with thousand opportunities.

As I told already the other post of my MFW I want to give a special thanks to Eiviluxury clinic for the beauty experience I did and to take so much care of me. They are really professionals and they suggest me the best for my skin and my beauty. I did a facial illuminating Vitamin C treatment that made my skin soft and glowing. I felt so beautiful!

ecco oggi l’ ultimo look delle mie giornate a Milano in occasione dell’ Hogan dinner Party un evento molto bello dove ho conosciuto persone molto speciali. Devo dire che questo look della stilista Virginia Vald è stato uno dei miei preferiti, romantico e sensuale, perfetto con gli orecchini placcati d’oro e corallo di Elisa Pomar. Devo ammettere che Milano mi ha stupita, erano molti anni che non vi andavo e ho trovato un città all’ avanguardia, viva, giovane e sicuramente dalle mille opportunità.

Un ringraziamento speciale, del quale ti avevo già parlato, va al centro estetico Eiviluxury. Mi hanno coccolata tantissimo prima della mia partenza, con manicure, pedicure e un fantastico trattamento pr il viso illuminante alla Vitamina C che ha reso la mia pelle morbidissima e luminosa. Quello che ti consiglio è prendere un appuntamento e farti consigliare quelli che sono i trattamenti adatti per il tuo viso o per il corpo. La professionalità è garantita.

On Bologna Clouds: home sweet home

It ‘s always nice to spend a few days in my beloved Bologna, especially when the days are still beautiful and walking around downtown is very pleasant.

Bologna has an incredible charm: its arcades, the old towers that rise like skyscrapers of the Middle Ages, this atmosphere that has always distinguished it as one of the most livable cities of Italy.

My must is to go to Piazza Maggiore, Via Clavature, or Via Orefici, to arrive in one of my favorite places where stands the church of Santo Stefano, ancient place of the Goddess Isis. In a small herbal I also found the “Sal de Ibiza“: the island wants always me to remember her.

Don’t miss the colorful shop Gallina Smilza in the way to go to Santo Stefano. I’m sure you will love it.

E’ sempre piacevole passare qualche giorno nella mia bella e amata Bologna, soprattutto quando ancora le giornate sono belle e passeggiare per il centro è molto gradevole. Bologna ha un fascino incredibile, tra i suoi portici, le antiche torri che svettano come grattacieli del medioevo, questa atmosfera che da sempre la contraddistingue come una delle città più vivibili d’ Italia.

Il mio must è andare in Piazza Maggiore, per poi inoltrarmi nelle strette viuzze come via Pescherie Vecchie, Via Clavature, o Via Orefici per poi arrivare in una delle mie piazze preferite dove sorge la chiesa di Santo Stefano, antico luogo di culto della Dea Iside.

In una piccola erboristeria ho trovato il ” Sal de Ibiza“: L’ isola vuole sempre che la ricordi. Poi come sapete sono un’ amante del rosa e tutte le volte che vado in centro e cammino verso Santo Stefano mi fermo nel coloratissimo negozio Gallina Smilza. Impossibile non innamorarsene!!!

Fall Season in Ibiza discovering the secrets of Es Cubells

Good morning Ibiza Lover!!

Today I had a walk in the little village of Es Cubells where you can enjoy an impressive view over the sea and where there are lot of things to discover.

One of them it’s the history of Fr. Francisco Palau founder of the carmelite missionary. He was confined to Ibiza on 9th of April, 1854 and he established in Es Cubells guided by the purpose of solitary and contemplative life. It is also known as the Heremit of Es Vedrà as he spent a long period in the little island. I suggest you his book about his life and the visions he had.

Behind the church you can take a little path that brings you in the area where he was living and where his old heremitage was. You can still find the spring in the cave which Fr. Palau and his brothers channelled the water to trasform the area into a beautiful garden.

I am sure you will love the silence, the peace and the amazing view. I hope to tell you more about this history and the magic Es Vedrà.

Buongiorno miei cari Ibiza Lover!!

Oggi ho fatto una deliziosa passeggiata nel piccolo villaggio di Es Cubells, dove oltre l’ incredibile vista sul mare e ci sono molte cose da scoprire.

Uno di queste è la storia di Padre Francisco Palau fondatore dell’ ordine delle carmelitane. Fu esiliato ad Ibiza il 9 aprile 1854 e si stabilì a Es Cubells con lo scopo di una vita solitaria e contemplativa. E’ noto anche come l’eremita di Es Vedrà visto che trascorse un lungo periodo nel magico isolotto. Ti suggerisco il suo libro sulla sua vita e le visioni che aveva.

Dietro la chiesa puoi trovare un piccolo sentiero che scende lungo il bordo della montagna che proprio fu dove il Padre aveva il suo piccolo eremo. È ancora possibile vedere il forno e la grotta da cui sgorga ancora oggi una sorgente di acqua pura che al tempo permise a Palau e ai suoi fratelli di irrigare tutta la zona trasformandola in un bellissimo giardino pieno di alberi.

Sono sicura che apprezzerai il silenzio, la pace e la vista straordinaria. Spero di dirti presto di più su questa storia e sulla magia Es Vedrà.
